Kyiv is a historical way of many centuries. Famous Dnieper was a witness of Kyiv establishment: from a settlement of a slavic tribe up to the one of the greatest cities of Europe.

Kyiv was named the "Mother of russian cities" by an age-old chronicler. Kyiv became the centre of the first state of east slavs - of Kyivan Rus, and Great, Small and White Rus, which today we name as Russia, Ukraine and Buelorussia, went towards from it.

City, which was plundered, burned and destroyed, approved its immortality within centuries; it is eternal, as the people are eternal, and it is beautiful, as the people are beautiful. Kyiv was tried to subdue by famine and fire, by meanness and insidiousness - it has stood, because always had the friends, on whose shoulders it could lean at difficult hours and to whom it was ready to give back all itself.

The culture and traditions of three great slavic nations - Russian, Byelorussian, Ukrainian - arose here; destiny and reputation of many peoples of a planet were fastened in hard unit here…

And here is another Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, modern European city with the three-million population in a frame of new areas, which look like as the whole cities. As one of the oldest cities of the world it stays eternally young, always in a modern channel, in development, it looks into the future invariable.

No, there is no better city than our Kyiv obviously! The famous French writer Onore de Balzak, who was in Kyiv for some times, said: "St. Petersburg - is a young city, Moscow - is an ancient city, and Kyiv - is the eternal city…, it is Northern Rome".
